Sunday Worship

We offer teaching for both adults and children to equip the saints for the work of the ministry and to exhort each other to live more like Jesus. Join us from 9:45-10:20 AM. We also have Sunday School for high school-aged children and under.
Preaching at 10:45 AM
Join us for a God-exalting and life-changing exposition of the book of Romans.
Preaching is essential to vitality and health of the church and our Christian lives. We are called to “preach the Word” because the Word is God’s means for salvation of the lost and growth of the believer (II Tim. 4:2; Rom. 10:17). As we preach the Word of God, the glorious truth of the gospel reveals the face of Christ to us (II Cor. 3:18), which leads to a Christ-centered, joyful life. At HCBC, we are committed to faithful, expositional preaching of biblical truth. We preach through the books of the Bible, from beginning to end, seeking to understand the truth so that it can be applied to our daily lives.
Wednesday Dinner and Prayer
(Occurs every other week)
Dinner at 6:00 PM
As the body of Christ, we love to come together to enjoy each other's company, share stories from the week, encourage in the faith, and literally taste some of the cooking talent we have been blessed with! This is also a wonderful time for visitors to get to know us individually. While this is a potluck-style dinner, don't feel pressure to bring anything if this is your first time.
Prayer at 7:00 PM
As was the example by the early Christians in Jerusalem, we encourage devotion to prayer in our personal lives (I Thess. 5:17) and when we come together as the Body of Christ (Matt. 18:19-20). Join us as we worship God in prayer, as is the example given to us in the Psalms, and pray for each other, our communities, and the power of the gospel worldwide.
